Co-curricular Activities
We are committed to helping all children achieve their maximum potential in their talents. We encourage pupils to participate in the school’s extensive and varied programme of extracurricular activities. This gives pupils the opportunity to discover their talents and develop them further to widen their horizons.
Mudasa Academy offers exciting activities as diverse as swimming, dance, drama, choir, indoor sports and outdoor games, board games, music instrument lessons, brass band, taekwondo, skating, fashion and modeling, dance club, art club, environmental club, scouts club among many others.
Games & Sports
Headed by a talented and qualified team of experts in games and sports, Mudasa Academy is geared towards offering a conducive environment for nurturing students’ talents in all sporting activities.
The games and sports department is keen on nurturing talent by providing appropriate advice on good behavior and the essential sports etiquette that reflect true sportsmanship.
Some of the games and sports offered are ball games (basketball, football, volleyball, netball), track and field, chess, tennis, badminton, cricket and swimming.
Art & Design
Mudasa Academy fosters creativity by allowing students to discover their full potential in creative arts. We have a spacious Art and Design room where students are involved in painting, drawing, mosaic, ornamentation, crafts making, graphic design, fashion design, mixed media work and photography. In the art and design class, emphasis is placed in the development of the student’s critical thinking, aesthetic appreciation, research and personal initiative. The students are taught to appreciate Art and Design in a broader context other than that of the classroom set up; they present and display their work at the end of every term and during school events.
Music & Drama
Music at Mudasa is a tool through which we inculcate the appreciation of cultural diversity. Our students have access to a range of musical instruments and an opportunity to sample various musical genres. The students have a lot of fun playing in different ensembles and bands.
Through guidance from the music department, our students have presented very high-quality music recitals at regional and national level competitions as well as during school events.
We also have a drama club where students participate in creation and execution of plays and poems including writing and designing of sets. The drama team works with the Music and Art students to showcase their skills and foster interdisciplinary collaboration and teamwork.
The school has a wide choice of co-curricular activities from which students can sign up for based on their interest and ability. We have the rightful facilities in place to facilitate all the above co-curricular activities. Our staff are professionals and well skilled in the different areas of sports and arts. They too are involved in as much as the children are.
